Lemon butter cookies

  • – 125 grams soft Goat Farm butter
  • – 100 grams of sugar
  • – 1 egg
  • – 300 grams wheat flour
  • – grated zest of 1 lemon, juice of 1 lemon
  • – baking powder
  • – icing sugar

Preparation method

Beat the soft butter and sugar in a bowl for 10 minutes to form a fluffy paste.

Then, without stopping beating, add the egg, juice and grated zest of one lemon.

Pour in 150 grams of whole wheat flour with a teaspoon of baking powder, stir, then add another 150 grams of flour and mix all together with a wooden spoon.

Form walnut-sized balls and bake for 15 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees.

Remove from the oven, place on a plate and sprinkle with icing sugar!
